The age-old altercation between former bandmates and lead singers of the defunct Plantashun Boiz music group, 2face Idibia and BlackFace have reportedly been settled as both singers appeared in court on Wednesday, November 27.
According to reports, 2Baba and BlackFace opted for an out-of-court settlement where they signed an undisclosed agreement that involved 2Baba dropping the N50m defamation suit filed against BlackFace, and BlackFace promising to end all accusation against his former colleague.
Both have been in a longstanding dispute concerning the rightful owner of 2Baba hit song “African Queen”, with BlackFace repeatedly maintaining in granted interviews that he owned the original idea which his former colleague took without his knowledge and concert.
2Baba also agreed to see that BlackFace receive his due royalties.
