Nigerian cleric Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) Worldwide finally reacted to several sex allegations against him on Thursday by Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar.
The actress alleged that the clergyman had sexual affairs with several actresses, including Shan George and Iyabo Ojo, a claim the pastor and his handlers ignored.
Remember that Halima Abubakar and Apostle Suleman’s dispute began in June when a contentious blogger named Gist lover revealed that the actress was having an affair with the purported fetish man of God.
The anonymous blog exposed many secrets and names reportedly connected to Apostle Suleman.
After the report emerged online, Halima Abubakar, via her Instagram story, claimed there would be a catastrophe if she spoke out about the matter.
Halima threatened to reopen their feud by posting additional secrets on social media if anyone tried to intimidate her with pointless messages.
Halima Abubakar’s social media post led to another drama between the Nollywood celebrities whose names made it to the alleged list of celebrities who had relationships with Apostle Suleman. Many took to their respective social media pages to debunk the reports with different claims and some with curses.
Responding to the allegations through his legal team, the cleric threatened a defamation suit against Halima.
The suit titled “DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS CONCERNING APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN: NOTICE THAT CEASE AND DESIST” was specifically addressed to Halima Abubakar over her recent outburst on social media regarding her past affairs with the clergyman.
N The notice signed by Mr Adzuanaga, the cleric accused Halima Abubakar of publishing malicious, defamatory, and demeaning statements about the apostle on several microblog sites, chiefly Gistlover. It stated that she must publish a refraction of her earlier statements in five-nation dailies within three days from now.
Apostle Suleman’s response to the accusations has led to drama on social media as many dragged him online for trying to defend the allegations levelled against him.
