The 4th Edition of CAAFA – Cameroon Academy African Film Awards took place on Saturday, Nov 4th at Oasis Banqueting Hall, Barking, London.
UK based Nollywood filmmakers among others were in attendance. Spotted at the prestigious African Awards night include: Uche Ogbodo, Victoria Inyama, Daniel K Daniel, Dj Abass and wife, Roseline Sanni-Ajose, Mr Sam Anwuzia of ZAFFA, Stella Maris Okafor, Ken Smart, Collins A Peirce, Danny Erskine, Wendy Sonkey, Achile Fotso, Marc Adebesin to name a few.
Hosted by WiseTola’ Onigbanjo, Nominees from Cameroon, Nigeria, Paris and the UK were spotted at the African film Award night. There was an opening speech by Tosky Bello, Perfomrances by Vera Tunes and Valentine Artist. There was Dinner and then Live band. The annual event turned out to be once again a night to remember said attendees.
The movie TALKING DOLLS by Marc Adebesin took home 8 awards at the event, followed by DESECRATION by Niyi Towolawe.
