In a recent video of Tonto Dike’s interview with Chude Jideonwo, Tonto stated that she doesn’t have the right to regret any of her past relationships.
She explained how her first relationship offered her a son, King Andre, followed by her second relationship that showed her true love, though it was all lies and infidelity.
In the conversation, she has learnt and gotten experience from these relationships hence she doesn’t regret them.
Tonto, who was announced as the deputy governorship candidate under the African Democratic Congress in the 2023 Rivers State gubernatorial election, continued that if she had the ability to change things in her past, she would never have entered avoided those unions
The actress, who was featured in a movie titled Dirty Secret that also raised controversy among Nigerians due to its inclusion of adult scenes, said further that all she is focused on now is growing, learning and moving on.
She Said
“Honestly I have regretted only one thing in my life. For my relationship, NO
My 1st relationship gave me the most beautiful boy in the whole world.
Second taught me that even if you show me true love, you can still be the devil.
So, I learnt alot from my relationship. I wouldn’t say I regretted it, if I was to take myself back, I probably wouldn’t have gotten myself involved or indulged in it.
I don’t think I have the right to regret what I went through because I put myself there.
All I have to do is grow, learn and move on”.
