“Working hard” results to “playing hard” when the time comes right? Multi Award winning producer, Obi Emelonye spent his birth which was on the 24th of March on the set of his new film “Thy Will Be Done“.
“I missed my twin brother with whom I started this enthralling journey 47 years ago. I missed my beautiful wife and wonderful childen who would be my companions until I get to the finishing line. I couldn’t even go pay homage to my mother in commemoration, but I spent the day at work with some of the best people in the Nigerian film industry”. He wrote on his facebook page.
He is currently in Nigeria working with some Nollywood top guns such as Ramsey Noah, Mercy Johnson Okojie and Mary Njoku on set. His cast and crew members bought him a lovely cake and they all had a blast with martini vermouth from his movie partners Martini and Barcadi. He enjoyed every second of it and also accepted it was the next best thing without his family around.
Obi Emelonye has been know for some of his successful Nollywood movies such as, The Mirror Boy, Last Flight to Abuja, and Onye Ozi (The Messenger). We can’t wait as we look forward to his current movie project.
