The ex-reality star is concerned about what she perceives as society’s hypocritical attitude towards mental health issues.
“People have gotten meaner despite becoming more mentally aware,” says Anto Lecky, who has taken to social media to speak out.
The former Big Brother Naija star in an extensive rant via her Instagram page on Friday, January 22, 2020, shared her observation on how people’s words are not often in line with their actions when it comes to matters of the mind and its state.
Anto gave several glaring instances, one of which is how people tend to call for more kindness on social media while reacting to a piece of suicide news when their own feeds are filled with unsavory comments directed towards their fellow humans.
She further spoke about stereotype, and how changes to one’s mood or appearance is automatically judged as a sign of illness by people in society.
The 31-year old Double Wahala housemate urged her followers to find their own happiness, stating that it is in short supply in the world right now.
Anto was one of the housemates from the second season of Big Brother Naija.
