Congratulations are in order for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex! The royal couple have announced they are expecting their second child together!
Prince Harry and Megan Markle confirmed that they are expecting a younger brother or sister for their one-year-old son, Archie.
The couple, who live in the US where the baby is likely to be born having stepped back as senior members of the royal family, disclosed the exciting news of the pregnancy on Valentine’s Day.
The Royal couple shared a black and white picture of themselves, sat under a tree, with Prince Harry resting his hand on Meghan’s head as she lay in his lap cradling her bump.
The baby will be eighth in line to the British throne.
A spokesperson for Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, said in a statement: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
The news comes after the duchess revealed in November that she had suffered a miscarriage in July last year.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married in 2018 at a star-studded wedding held in England. They welcomed their first child, Archie back in 2019.
