Singer Simi Praises Colleague Asake For His Recent Performance On The Tonight Show

Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has reacted to her male colleague Asake’s performance on The Tonight Show.

It was reported that the wave of the moment, Asake, had made his first American TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Just like his senior colleagues, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, and others, Asake performed live on the show, and his performance was nothing short of spectacular.

During the show, Asake performed one of his hit songs, “Organize.”

His spectacular performance had left many praising him on social media, including Simi.

Taking to the microblogging platform, Simi revealed that his performance on the show made her smile so much.

Applauding Asake, she stated that his music is so unique and very representative of all.

She added that his music is hard to mimic and that she loves that he is performing on international stages.

“Asake’s performance on the Tonight Show made me smile so much. His music is so unique and very representative of us. Hard to mimic that and he’s on int’l stages. I love it so much”.

Asake isn’t the only Nigerian artist to perform on the show.

Tiwa Savage performs on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

It was reported in 2020 that popular Nigerian singer and mother of one Tiwa Savage had made her American TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The Yoruba-born songstress performed on August 21, 2020, and the performance aired via virtual means.

During the show, she performed her single, “Dangerous Love.”

This came after her announcement that she would release her third album, Celia, on Friday, August 28, 2020. She is the third Nigerian to perform on the show in under a year.

Burna Boy performed on the show in 2019. Davido was on the show earlier in 2020.

Maleek Berry also performed on the show as a supporting act for Goldlink.
