Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has alerted drivers about the dangers of the new 3rd Mainland Bridge.

She revealed that, though she appreciates the people in charge of reconstructing the 3rd Mainland Bridge, she can categorically say that the new bridge is dangerous and is more like a death trap.

With her driving experience, she almost had an accident two nights ago, and she wasn’t speeding, and to make it worse, she lost a good friend on that same day.

Expressing how heartbroken she is, she admonished road users to avoid speeding on the bride as she bade farewell to MC Oluomo’s aide, Akintoye Benson.

“I appreciate whoever is in charge of the reconstruction of the 3RD Mainland Bridge, but I can categorically tell you that the new bridge is dangerous, more like a death trap….With my driving experience on that bridge two nights ago, please and please do not drive speed on that bridge, yes it’s a beautiful and smooth bridge now compared to the way it was before, but I almost had an accident two nights ago, not like I was even speeding cus me no sabi drive speed, but my steering almost left my hands while driving…then just last night I lost a good friend on that same bridge, it hurts but What can we call this? A Blessing or a curse? Rest well Akintoye Please do NOT over SPEED on the new 3rd mainland Bridge Please I am begging you Untimely death will never be our portion”.

It was reported hours ago that former NURTW boss MC Oluomo had lost one of his aides, Akintoye Benson, in a ghastly car accident.

According to reports, the deceased, who was an assistant to MC Oluomo, had died after being involved in a ghastly car accident on Thursday night, March 7th, 2024, on the Third Mainland Bridge.

Mourning him, Bimbo Success took to her Instagram page to share a deep message about life, stating that there is nothing in it. She noted how life is vanity upon vanity.

Expressing pain over the death of one Toye, she begged her Maker to have mercy on her and others.

Early this year, Nkechi Blessing revealed that she had escaped death. The mother of one, via her Instagram page, while sharing a photo of her in a bandage, revealed that what took her mother in a flash years ago almost happened to her. But luckily for her, God said it was not her turn.

As many are dying on the Third Mainland Bridge, others are getting robbed. Last year, actor Jide Awobona recounted his wife’s scary experience at the hands of robbers.

On Instagram, the actor revealed that his wife was threatened at gunpoint on the third mainland bridge.

But as a sharp babe and Ijebu woman, she deceived them and pleaded to give them 1,000 of the 3,000 she had in her wallet.

Also, Yvonne Jegede recounted how she was almost robbed at about 9 p.m. while stuck in traffic on the third mainland bridge.

According to Yvonne, the guy jumped from under the bridge and targeted her car since she was alone, but, luckily for her, the traffic was light, so the guy took off when he realized the traffic had eased

Yvonne Jegede called for the bridge at Oworonsoki to be sanitized and warned her fans to be careful of how they drive at night, especially when alone.
