Prominent Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, widely known as AY, has taken to social media to share some ethic thoughts concerning the wealthy and less privileged Nigerians amid the lockdown order imposed in the country as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Nigeria is currently involved in a two-front war, with two different groups battling two identical enemies, according to AY.
AY says while the rich are afraid of contracting the dreaded coronavirus and are in total support of lockdown induced order, the poor are also afraid of the hunger virus and wants movement restrictions to be revoked.
The hilarious personality took to his social media pages today being Friday, April 24, 2020, where he offered his solution on how the country can fight both enemies and emerge victiories on both ends while in lockdown.
He wrote on Instagram: Two main pandemics at the moment we are fighting…… 1. Coronavirus 2. Hunger virus. Two main groups of people at the moment fighting the pandemics…… 1. The Rich and 2. The poor. The global irony and the African outlook…… The rich are afraid of the virus.
According to AY on Twitter, the only way
the stay at home order can be fully effective is when the rich decide to help the poor with food.
All we keep hearing daily is “STAY AT HOME”.The rich want the poor to stay home to avoid the spread of Corvid19, but HUNGER VIRUS won’t allow the poor to stay home. We can only control d spread of d virus when the rich help the poor by providing enough food to stay at home,” he tweeted.
