It’s been an exciting year so far for Nigerian music lovers who have seen their favourite artists either drop new albums or announce the imminent release of one.
The excitement is expected to continue this week as legendary Afrobeats singer 2Baba is now the latest musician expected to come through with his seventh studio album which will drop on Friday.
2Baba made this known via his Instagram page on Friday, Febuary 21, 2020, where he announced the imminent release of the album.
“Anticipate!!! This album is for warriors,” he wrote.
The title of the album is “Warrior“, and the body of work houses 13 tracks and features Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Olamide and Burna Boy.
The album will be his fifth album release under Hypertek and will be a follow-up to 2014 effort, Ascension.
For 2Baba, “Warrior” will be a commemorative effort for 20 years of excellence in Nigerian music.
