The veteran singer says he is optimistic that Nigeria as a nation will find the winning formula.
Popular Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, professionally known as 2Baba, has expressed profound hope for Nigeria and the nation’s ability to still reach its potentials and deliver the goods.
The music star echoed the sentiment via his Instagram stories on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
In his post, 2Baba who is often critical of political leaders in Nigeria did not hold back with his criticism once again as he called them out for messing up the country through politics.
However, he professed that he is overly proud of Nigeria regardless of its current failings.
“No matter how I dey feel about how politics and some politicians don mess Naija up, I still proud of Naija with my full chest.” he wrote.
Speaking further, the Power of Naija crooner noted that although things in Nigeria may seem out of order now, he is optimistic that they will eventually click.
He added: “E choke die now but I believe say e go enter. E fit be after I don kpai sef but the engine don start. Bless us. Bless Naija aka the headquarter of Africa.”
