The name Toyin Lawani might not ring a bell to you, but the truth is, This popular Nigerian fashion designer has been trying to break the internets every single year. While at it again, she has, however, landed on the chopping board of Christians who are keeping the week Holy because of Easter.
On Sunday, March 28, 2021, the fashion designer posted photos of her racy nun outfit to Prophetess the Movie’s premiere. The nun dress featured two high slits that went up to her hips. As if that is not enough, she posted more photos of her rocking a man in the outfits and posing sexually. Nigerian Christians immediately camped on her page to express their disappointment at the outfit they termed blasphemous and extremely disrespectful to Christianity. Calling her an antichrist, they insisted she dares not try the same pose wearing the Muslim hijab. Shockingly, Toyin Lawani is not fazed by all the comments and has gone ahead to share a throwback photo of herself rocking a similar pose in a Muslim hijab and traditional worshippers attire.

Apart from Nigerian youths reacting, certain celebrities have also blasted her. But before we talk about their reactions, let’s look at other times Toyin broke the internet with eye-bleeding contents.
1.Unclad Photos for Skincare line: Toyin Lawani went completely nude for the first time on August 1, 2019, proving she will stop at nothing to get noticed. The stylist dropped two explicit photos of herself wearing nothing to promote her skincare line to her Instagram. Standing upright in one, she was crouched in another to flatter her backside. She then captioned the post, “This is how you break the internet bitches. The aim to glow naturally with herbal products.”
Of course, the mother of two lost many fans over the nude photos, but it looks like she was overcompensated with more followers and more customers.
2.Princess Shyngle and Toyin Collabo: Coming shortly after sharing her first-ever nude photos, Toyin Lawani broke the internet again with her and Gambian actress Princess’s racy photos. This time around, she was promoting her new luxury lingerie line. Semi-nude Toyin and Princess Shyngle raunchy poses gave the public a whole different impression.
The sexually appealing photos sparked outrage from Nigerians and made many believe they are truly doing the act. Princess Shyngle would admit months later that she is bi-sexual, and Toyin used to be her lesbian partner.
3.Toyin and Her PA: In the same months of August 2019, Toyin Lawani proved she was not done with selling sexual content. On August 15, she posted nude photos of her personal assistant while her almost naked self hugged him from behind. This photoshoot was to celebrate her personal assistant’s birthday, which according to her, is the best birthday photo she can share of him. This is because he is passionate about skin, body parts, and style.
People were not kind with their reactions as many asked if he is not the father of her children. It was too explicit for them to think otherwise.
4.Toyin Twerks A Storm: Just when we thought we had seen it all, Toyin Lawani ended the month with nude twerk videos. The mother of two who explained she decided to twerk and whine her bare buttocks while waiting for a spa session shared her nude twerk videos online on August 31, 2019. While some Nigerians urged her to act her age, others reminded her that the internet never forgets.
5.Toyin and Pretty Mike Collabo: In October of 2020, the drama Queen teamed up with her fellow drama King, Pretty Mike, to break the internet. As usual, Toyin and Pretty Mike were not afraid to bear it all as they graced a magazine cover. In the racy photos, Toyin, who was wearing scanty lingerie, could be seen sitting on a nude Pretty Mike, and in another, they appear to share a kiss. Another one of their photos that got people’s attention was a shot where she used her hands to cover her generous bosoms.

7.60th Independence Day Photoshoot: Independence Day is when patriotic Nigerians think of ways to move the country forward, but Toyin Lawani aims to distract. On 6oth Independence day, October 1, 2020, the fashion designer shared nude photos of herself barely covered in a giant green flower.
Making matters worse, she went ahead to write an epistle about being a patriotic Nigerian. Angry Nigerians told her to park well and go look for attention elsewhere.
8.39th Birthday: Months after desecrating the independence day, Toyin Lawani came back again to desecrate Christians holy months all in the name of celebrating her birthday. Coming on her 39th birthday, March 1, 2021, the fashion stylist shut down the internet with photos of her nude body covered in body art. She went further to give an epistle about the evil meted on women and their newfound empowerment while describing herself as a warrior, survivor, supermom, and kingmaker, changing the narrative.
As you can imagine! She was blasted left, right, and centre. However, some of her fans praised her creativity.
Fast forward to 2021, when we think we’ve seen it all, she came back again with another raunchy photo, and now Nigerians, especially Christians, won’t even forgive her. One after the other, they have been taking turns to blast her, and celebrities are not left out.

Femi Fani-Kayode called her nun photos tactless, blasphemous, antichrist, and completely unacceptable. He said, “This is not art: It is ghetto rubbish.
Bobrisky also came for her. Mocking her post, he said Toyin Lawani is still not famous despite going nude all the time.
Aloma DMW called the outfit nonsense and total blasphemy, adding that if he had attended the movie premiere, he would have forced her to go back home to change.
Meanwhile, Toyin Lawani, who once said her posing nude is a strategy to grow her business, is not bothered by the comments. She insists that she would not stop creating arts even if it displeases the world.
