Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has made the astonishing claim that a large proportion of Nollywood actresses who have gotten new cars this year received them as tokens from gay men.
The actor took to his Instagram page on Wednesday, February 11, 2020, where he made the audacious remark among others.
Maduagwu who recently came out as gay began his post by first defending his sexual identity, noting that he was born to be homosexual.
He then reacted to news about the flurry of actresses in the thespian industry who have spent big on expensive rides in 2021. According to him, 98% of the cars were gifts received from rich married men who so happen to be gay.
The actor who is known for making daring and controversial statements also claimed that half of the male ministers in the country are not straight.
“Being gay is my birthright so don’t try to change me ko le work Naija actresses who criticize me are not God more than half of current Nigerian ministers na gay and over 98% of popular actresses got car gift from married gay rich men this year,” he wrote.
Series of Nollywood actresses have already acquired for themselves new luxury vehicles during the first two months of the year, with Destiny Etiko and Toyin Abraham the most recent among them.
