Rapper Laycon says his feelings for Erica was genuine.
Popular Nigerian reality star Laycon has shed more light on the nature of his relationship with Erica during his time at the Big Brother Naija house.
The first episode of Laycon’s anticipated reality show, ‘I Am Laycon‘, hit the airwaves today, and in it the ex-housemate talked up his intricate relationship with Erica which was one of the biggest highlights of the BBNaija show.
In a portion of the video, Laycon confessed that he had feelings for Erica and enjoyed spending time with her. According to the rapper, he tried to move on when he realized she didn’t feel the same way about him. However, he said being enclosed in a space with twenty housemates made keeping to himself quite difficult.
“So in a house, where we were just twenty of us and I’m sorry, how was I supposed to deal with that issue if not talk about it? Cause even when I’m outside the house, I talked about it.
“I needed space, I need space. I try to give space as much as possible but in the house…that we were together in, that was hard for me. And talking about it kind of helped me mentally go through it. So, that’s that.”
In a different portion of the video, the 27-year old musician noted that the best way to deal with issues in the BBNaija house was to talk about it.
Laycon who emerged winner of Big Brother Naija Season Five was caught in a love triangle with Erica and billionaire son, Kiddwaya.
