An 18yr old was fatally stabbed in Forest Gate, east London yesterday, Monday evening. Despite the awareness and government attempt to stop the killings, this will be 3rd killing in 2 days.
Officers were called to Chestnut Avenue at around 10.50pm.The victim, a teenager is said to have died just before 11.30pm.
Police said his family were still being informed and that formal identification and a post-mortem would be arranged. No arrests have been made, witnesses are urged to call police on 101.
This comes a day after two other people were stabbed to death within minutes of each other in separate domestic incidents in the capital.
A 26-year-old man was attacked with a knife in Colindale, north London, just before 6pm on Sunday and a woman in her 30s was stabbed to death in Brixton, south London, shortly after 6.30pm. There have been arrests in both of this cases.
In a statement, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said: “My heart goes out to the friends and family of the teenager who lost his life in Forest Gate last night. I am in close contact with the police and I am reassured that they are doing everything they can to bring those responsible to justice and keep Londoners safe.

Every single death from knife crime is an absolute tragedy, and I am determined to rid our city of this dreadful scourge.
