Award winning top director, Obi Emelonye is working on his latest movie, ‘Oxoford Gardens“. Working with the likes of London based actress Ngozi Gayle who plays the main character as a cancer patient who is determined to enjoy every second of her last days.
The award wining director of The Mirror Boy, Last flight to Abuja and Onye Ozi (The Messenger) finally introduce his beautiful daughter to acting. Here is what he had to say “
My daughter D’Richy makes her acting debut in my new film Oxford Gardens.
There is a debate about how much you can push your children and how early you should start. I think my wife, Amaka and I may have timed it right with D’Richy. We have kept her away from films until now. Then this project unleashes her and she reciprocates with one of the most heart-melting performances I have seen from a child actor. You have Daddy’s and Mummy’s blessings to take on the world. God’s speed Ada’m.”
How sweet! He recently finish shooting the movie in London. We can’t wait to see this movie which we suspect will be educational as well as entertaining.
