Diaspora Community Attends World Mental Health Day Humanitarian Conference To Raise Awareness In The Black Community!

Diaspora community attended the World Mental Health Day which took place on the 10th  of October 2015 in London. Hosted by universal peace federation in partner with Anti Depression campaign group. The Conference featured a lively discussion on Promoting Dignity in Mental Health in the African community. A Presentation of Humanitarian Awards was also received on the day among other things. 

World Mental Health Day, is supported by the United Nations (UN),  and is annually held on October 10 to raise public awareness about mental health issues worldwide. This event promotes open discussions on illnesses, as well as investments in prevention and treatment services. Depression, including among young people, is a major mental health problem. World Mental Health Day promotes the awareness of such issues.
