Big Brother Naija star Diane Russet has finally released her short film tilted “Bayi”.
Diana Russet has begun her newfound career as a filmmaker post Big Brother Naija reality show with the release of “Bayi” – a 30 minute film which theme is wrapped around early child marriage and gender base violence.
in “Bayi”, the former housemate takes on the lead role of Fatima, a northern teenage girl forced into early child marriage. She is joined by the likes of Mariam Kayode, Sir Dee, Tope Olowoniyan, Daniel Atteh, Lynn Mula among others.
“Bayi” tells the story of the struggles of a young girl, who loses her family and has to navigate through life. The film is written by Diane Russet, directed by Micheal ‘Amapsalmist’ Akinrogunde and produced by Ayomide Newo.
