bBNaija Khafi says her family is on the lookout for anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of her brother’s killer.
Former Big Brother Naija star Khafi Kareem has appealed to members of the public and local community for useful information that would lead to the identification and arrest of her brother’s murderer as the family seek to bring the perpetrator to justice.
Khafi’s younger brother Alexander Kareem was shot dead by a yet-to-be-identified person while returning from a trip to a convenient store, according to the BBC. The incident is reported to have occurred close to his family home in Shepherd’s Bush, West London, on Monday, June 8, 2020.
Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, the former housemate shared a video where she called on those with clues that would lead to police breakthrough in her brother’s murder case to please come forward. Khafi said such person would be of great help to her suffering family.
She said: “On the 1st of January 2020, I had no idea I would be going into the 1st day of the second half of the year without my little brother. Almost a month on and the person who has broken my family still has not been found. The hardest thing was not being there for my brother when he cried out for help. I’m praying we can help him now. If you know who did this please come forward. I beg you. #HelpAlex.”
In the same video, Scotland yard police department says it is looking for the occupant of a white Range Rover SUV that was used on the night of the shooting.

According to detectives in charge of the case, a Range Rover Evoque linked to the murder was later found burnt out three miles away from the scene of the crime. The police said they are yet to make any arrest.
