On the 27th of October 2017, The 9th BEFFTA took place in London. Talented personalities from African, Caribbean and Asian communities were honoured as part of BEFFTA Honorary Top 1000, celebrating individuals in the Beauty, Entertainment, Fashion, Film and Television industry.
Things were done a little different this year, BEFFTA week kicked off from the 23rd-28th of October, ending with a special dinner and gala night for 1000 individuals in the industry. This was different from the previous years of 2 days award night and celebration.
Dr Pauline Long ( CEO/Founder of BEFFTA – The Global brand) said;
“9 years of solid hands on work serving the community through BEFFTA and bringing people together has been amazing. We look forward to many more years. Thank you for all your support and to all BEFFTA honorary recipients, use your title to smash those doors down ”
She also said there will be another gala in December to continue the recognition award. “We are NOT done with 9th BEFFTA, one more gala is coming in December to continue with the BEFFTA Top 1000 List”.
