Popular Nigerian afrobeats singer Burna Boy has responded to side talks on social media that placed him on the wrong money bracket.
Burna Boy is not sitting around to see his net value wrongly reported and is happy to let everyone know he is worth more than the $3.5 million Forbes estimates him to be
The singer took to his Snapshot page on Thursday, May 14, 2020, where he rubbished the reports currently making the rounds that he is worth $3.5m which is approximately N1.3 billion.
In his post, the Ye coroner bragged about having much more money. According to him, his fleets of cars alone are worth more than the said amount.
“They said I’m worth $3.5mill…That won’t even buy my cars,” he wrote.
Burna Boy added that he would have loved to show off his luxurious possessions, but it isn’t in his nature to act in such manner.
” I might have to start doing some showing off. Nah. That’s not me,” he continued.
He went on to reveal that he already had $3.5 million in his bank account in 2014 when he recorded hit song ‘All Eyes on Me’
“Fun fact: By the time I recorded ”All Eyes On Me” I was dancing around that 3.5 level.”
Though Burna Boy’s estimated net worth remains unknown, he is no doubt amongst the richest celebrities in Nigeria.
