American news-based television channel CNN has published its list of top ten biggest music stars in Africa. The list was compiled over the weekend and is dominated by Nigerian artistes who claim five out of the 10 spots.
Grammy nominee Burna Boy comes first. Followed closely by Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Mr. Eazi. But there was no place for popular afrobeat singer Davido who surprisedly missed out completely.
Sho Madjozi and Busiswa Gqulu saw that South African is represented, while the remaining three spots are occupied by one music star from Benin, Tanzania and Zambia.
