Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has taken to social media to call out those who are mourning Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman following his death.
Angela Okorie believes people are hypocrites for paying series of tributes to the late Chadwick Boseman now that he is dead.
The movie star shared his controveral thoughts on the trending issue in a video shared via her instagram page on Sunday, August 30, 2020, where she questioned the morality in celebrating someone only when they are no more.
First the actress said that people of the world prefer to celebrate death over life. According to her, some will even refrain from celebrating those who put a smile on their face because they’re more successful than them. She went on to label the tributes for Chadwick on social media irrelevant since he isn’t alive to notice it.
She captioned the post: “In conclusion People celebrate death More than life. Celebrate life that is worth celebrating. Not when they are Gone. Especially people who have done alot to put smiles on your face. Don’t let low self esteem, inferiority complex and hate eat you up. All that epistle doesn’t really matter when the person don’t get to see it. Too much hate in the world and I don’t know why, abeg no reason to hate any1 oooo.”

Chadwick Boseman died on Friday, August 28, after a four-year battle with colon cancer.
The Black Panther star had been diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in 2016, which had progressed to Stage IV. He was reported to have died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.w
The announcement of his death immediately saw waves of support and condolence messages pour in on social media both from celebrity figures and people around the world.
