Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade has announced that she and her children have recovered from the novel coronavirus disease.
The movie star shared the good news via his Instagram page on Sunday, August 30, 2020, where she penned a heartfelt message of gratitude.
A grateful Omotola said that she and her kids are “fine and COVID free* The mother of four also thanked all those who were with her family in thoughts, prayers, calls, and messages during the difficult moment.
“I am grateful to God Almighty the Lord of lords for all He has done for my family and I. He is truly a dependable friend if you trust in Him. I’ll also like to thank you all for your love, prayers, calls, messages, posts, and thoughts. All truly appreciated,” she wrote.
She went on to use the medium to create awareness about the dreaded virus. Omotola admonished Nigerians on the need to go testing and take the necessary steps to avoid contracting the respiratory ailment.
She added: “If you still don’t believe this virus is real, I pray you don’t experience it to believe.
“If you ever feel ill during this pandemic, pls know there’s nothing to fear or be ashamed of…you’re not alone.”

This comes after the actress had earlier come out to reveal that she contracted the viral disease and also infected her children.
