Chief Morocco Maduka Wows Audience at His First Ever London Concert!

Chief  (Dr) Morocco Emeka Maduka, the King of Highlife music in Igboland and the Egwu Ekpili ‘Evangelist’ performed in London on Saturday the 5th of November 2016, taking his fans by surprise with his distinctive great voice and music during Star Night In London.

With fans thinking he is retired, Dr Morocco appeared and performed his greatest hits very close to music lovers for the first time in a long time. Voice evergreen in melody.

With an impressive turn out at the first ever concert of its kind, music lovers had great fun, with delicious African food and delicatessen, assorted drinks and much more. They enjoyed the popular Igbo singer’s music amongst other cultural activities which took place on the night. The Egwu Ekpili fans also danced to and enjoyed good music by the legend himself.

Principal  Promoter of the event Mr Eddy Isebor made sure things went according to plans with great hospitality. “We want our children here in the UK to relate to  our culture through music. This is just a test and we are very impress with the turn out, we hope to do more next year, bringing some great Highlife singers into the UK for events like this”. Was his saying during his red carpet interview with us.

Chief Morocco Maduka began his music career at an early age and has to his credit over 72 Albums He recorded his first Album entitled Agha Nigeria in 1971. And in the following years he recorded other albums – Ije Sokoto, Uwa Ekwe Nmeta, Ome Nma, Eze Udene, Amuru Onye N’Ego, Nke Onye Metalu, Ozogidigbam,  Olu Oma Nwelugwo, Ochuba Aku, Ubanesse among others.
