Popular Nigerian singer Douglas Jack Agu, popularly known as Runtown, has joined the growing list of celebrities in the country who have moved to help lighten the financial plight of those under strict order by the government to remain home.
Runtown has pledged to donate N10 million to Nigerians forced to stay at home as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
The singer took to his Twitter page on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, where he announced his pledge to donate the hefty sum of money to help reduce the financial burden.
“HOPE EVERYONE IS STAYING SAFE. TIMES ARE EXTREMELY TOUGH AND I AM CERTAIN THERE ARE PEOPLE WITH NO MONEY TO STOCK UP ON SURVIVAL ESSENTIALS. WILL BE GIVING OUT 10 MILLION NAIRA TO THIS CAUSE. KINDLY DROP YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS.” he tweeted.
