Nigerian singer Fireboy DML has taken to social media to sing the praises of healthcare workers risking their lives at the forefront of the coronavirus pandemic.
Fireboy has issued a timely advice to his fans and followers looking to make the most out of the recently relaxed lockdown currently in effect across the country.
In a post shared via his Twitter page on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, the singer advised Nigerians to comply with the social distancing guidelines as movement restrictions is being eased nationwide.
In his tweet, Fireboy admonished fans to stay at home and that if they must go out, they should be in protective covering and maintain social distancing.
“Please stay home, and if you MUST go out, make una use protective gear and maintain social distancing abeg'” he wrote.
Speaking further, the Jealous crooner also used the opportunity to praise health workers for the works they have been doing at the front line of the pandemic.
“Love and gratitude to all the health workers at the frontline of this pandemic. thank you so much for your sacrifice and God bless you!” he added.
