Popular Facebook social media commentator and realtor Oge Nsimah has aired her opinion after reports of Davido and Chioma getting married traditionally hit the internet. According to Gistlover, Davido and Chioma allegedly got married on the 6th of November, which was barely a week after their 3-year-old son Ifeanyi accidentally drowned at the Banana Island home.

Some parts of the viral post claimed that the traditional wedding of Chioma and Davido had a few family and friends in attendance with no cameras allowed. And the ceremony took place at Davido’s father’s House, and Chioma’s bride price was paid in full”.

According to Oge Nisimah, the traditional wedding taking place at Davido’s father’s home is un-Igbo-like.

Oge Nsimah wrote;

‘David and Chioma are now traditionally married, against tradition and customs.

News has it that Chioma’s bride price was paid over the weekend inside Davido’s father’s compound. This is un-Igbo-like.

While I congratulate them
I won’t hide my feeling. it’s unfortunate that
Ifeanyi has to die before this could happen soon.

As I wish them well, I also want to say
Chioma should know that getting married to Davido means nothing.

I hope Davido can now prioritise her and leave his avalanche of women.

To me, a man getting married to you means nothing if he can not amend his lifestyle for your sake.
