Nigerian singer Eedris Abdulkareem left many talking after he credited singer Blackface for the success of legendary singer 2faces’s career.
He made this known in an interview on the Honest Bunch podcast, where he asserted that most of the things 2face has today were made possible by Blackface.
Refreshing your memory, Blackface was the former bandmate of 2face when they were in the defunct group Plantashun Boiz, which brought 2face, now known as 2baba, into the limelight.
Eedris said Blackface was the leader of the group, and as such, 2baba owes most of his career’s success to Blackface and should have treated him better.
Speaking in Pidgin, Abdulkareem said, “Most of the things wey 2face be today, na Blackface make am happen.”
Elsewhere in the interview, he also recounted how Blackface would bring different women into the room with two babies and send them out.

Recall that the former members of the defunct Patanshun Boys have been subject to controversies in the media sphere over the years, with BlackFace constantly accusing 2Face of stealing his songs, including the monster hit “African Queen.
2face had even filed an N50 million defamatory lawsuit against him, which he later withdrew for the two to settle out of court.
In his statement, Blackface revealed that his lawyer had enlightened him on what theft meant.
The two later reunited at their alma mater event in Makurdi, where they thrilled fellow old students.
Last year, Blackface reopened his beef with his second baby, as he accused him of using diabolic means to end his life and career.
He revealed that he listened to the interview 2baba made with media personality Olisa Adibua, where he explained why he stopped being friends with him and other Plantashun Boiz and recalled how he brought 2baba from Benue to Lagos and his mother was very appreciative of it, and now the same 2baba said on a media round that he can’t talk about him.
