Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has taken to social media issue another update concerning his forthcoming album.
The music superstar has temporarily paused the release of his much-anticipated album ‘Made in Lagos‘ due to the ongoing SARS protests which have rocked the nation.
He made this known via his Twitter page on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, in response to a fan who had quizzed him on whether his latest body of work would drop as scheduled in light of the current happenings in the country.
“#SarsMustGoNow ……but @wizkidayo MIL go still drop?” the fan asked.
Replying to the question, Wizkid seemingly pointing that it is not the right time to release his album.
“Not yet!! Mad times!!,” he wrote, accompanied by a broken heart emoji and the Nigerian flag.
