Popular Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola has promised to donate 1 billion Naira towards the fight against coronavirus insurgency in Nigeria.
It is fair to say that the battle against the dreaded coronavirus in Nigeria should be a national responsibility and not just for the government to deal with alone. For this reason businessman Femi Otedola has left many stunned with how much he is willing to donate to the cause.
Femi Otedola is coughing out a whopping 1 billion Naira to help flatten the curve of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
He recently took to his Twitter page to reveal he would be donating the huge amount to the fight against the virus responsible for the loss of thousands of lives after plaguing nations of the world.
Sharing the good news, he wrote: “I will be contributing 1 billion Naira towards the eradication of COVID-19 across Nigeria. We must all do what we can to flatten
the curve.”

Twitter has since imploded because of Otedola’s viral post as Nigerians flooded the comment section to react. While some thanked him for his kind gesture, others suggested that the money should not be handed over to the government.
