G-West Gears Up For the Release Of New Single ‘For You’, This Friday!

Budding Afrobeats artist, G-West is set to release a brand new single on Friday 3rd November 2017. The song, titled ‘For You’ was produced by Kumasi based super producer Apya.

G-West, who is also a very talented songwriter with quite of a number of songwriting credits to his name will release visuals for the song shortly after the song is released.

Real name George Mensah, G-West Born and raised in Kumasi, had his primary education at KNUST Primary, and then his junior high education at KNUSTJHS.

With his passion for music, G-West got into music in his first year of high school in 2009 at Prempeh College, Kumasi.

After completing senior high school in 2013, he decided to do music full time and has been doing it since.

He released his first single “Ode ko” in 2015. With little to no promotion, he managed to gain some amount of listeners which eventually got him signed to The Factory GH. Under The Factory GH, he released his first official single titled “Akosua” featuring rapper

Joey B and was produced by Kuvie. “Akosua” gained him a lot of recognition and praise.His next single “Twa me tum”, also produced by Kuvie did well too.

He then released “Come thru” produced by Apya, which currently has about 94,000 listens on Soundcloud alone.

After “Come thru” he got featured on DJ Akuaa’s “Gimmie love”. He also featured Mr. Eazi on “Oye dede” his fourth official single.

His fifth single, “Quickie”, has also been doing very well since its release.

He recently got featured on DJ Sawa’s “Loving you” featuring Renee Mare this month.
