The Headies Award, Biggest and Most Prestigious African Music Awards in the World. The annual award show that celebrates outstanding achievements of the Nigerian music industry was established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria.
Headies 2022 edition was held in Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, United States, on the 4th of September.

Fireboy’s first outfit was an all-black ensemble with a green Christian Dior jacket. The nominee emerged as winner for the Best Afrobeats Single

Ladipoe, the award winning Nigerian singer decides to storm in an all-white otfit complemented with a suiting pair of sunglasses. The singer wins Headies 2022 Best Rap Single of the year.
7. AYRA STARR
Ayra Starr appears in skimpy gold halterneck gown in braids to pick up her award, Headies’ Viewer’s Choice.
8. DEYEMI OKANLAWON
The Nigerian actor storms the event in a whole different attire. See him stepping out of an elevator in an agbada and a 3/4 pair of trousers, accessorising the look with a walking stick and a matching cap.
9. GBENRO AJIBADE
The Nollywood actor came through with the shimmer and shine in burnt orange sequin 3-piece which featured a turtleneck shirt, a jacket and a pair of pants which he paired with some black shoes.
10. KCEE
Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo professionally called KCEE wins the Headies award for Best Inspirational Single of the year. The artist in full excitement dedicates his wins to his wife.
