Celebrity wife Chrissy Teigen is sharing details about the tragic loss of her son Jack at 20 weeks pregnant.

The TV personality and cookbook author announced she and husband John Legend had lost their third child, a boy named Jack, shortly after his birth late last month.

In a heartbreaking essay posted on the writing platform Medium on Tuesday, the model opened up about being diagnosed “with partial placenta abruption,” recalling the moment after she had spent time at the hospital due to heavy bleeding when “it was time to say goodbye” to her baby.

Chrissy Teigen says the bleeding got heavier and heavier as she talks about pregnancy loss in heartbreaking essay.

Teigen, 34, said she asked for photographs of the tragic ordeal “no matter how uncomfortable it was” because “I just needed them”.

She also touched on her moments of sadness and joy since the loss, noting how Jack will always remain with the family and thanking everyone who had reached out to her family.

“I knew for me I needed to say something before I could move on from this and return back to life, so I truly thank you for allowing me to do so,” she said.

“Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see,” the mother of two added. “Thank you so much to every single person who has had us in their thoughts or gone as far as to send us your love and stories. We are so incredibly lucky.”

Chrissy and John tied the knot in Italy back in September of 2013, and they share daughter Luna Simone, four, and son Miles Theodore, two.

Kim Kardashian did it big for her 40th birthday, renting out a private island for an entire week of birthday celebrations together with her tight-knit family and closest friends.

The star, who turned 40 on October 21, took to social media on Tuesday to explain how she had managed to celebrate the milestone with her loved ones amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Kim shared the pictures of her blissful party on her official Instagram page with a caption which read: “40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter.

“For my birthday this year, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped shaped me into the woman I am today. Before COVID, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment.”

The reality star then explained how she ensured everyone was safe to travel as she added: “After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal for a brief moment in time.

“We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more.”

Kim Kardashian had a memorable 40th birthday celebration.

The mother-of-four then concluded: “I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40.”

The ace comedian Craze Clown has come forward with more details regarding the fatal accident he was recently involved in.

It would be recalled that Craze Clown survived a ghastly road crash that caused extensive damage to his car on his wife’s birthday.

Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, the comedian shared a video of himself wrapped in bandages and shedding tears of joy as he sang along to a gospel song.

Narrating the near-death incident, Craze Clown confirmed that one person died in the accident, and he believed the end has come for him after seeing his life flash before his eyes.

The hilarious personality once again expressed gratitude to God for intervening to save his life.

He went on to thank everyone who reached out to him while noting that he only suffered some bruises and dislocation of the neck and shoulders.

Craze Clown was involved in a fatal car crash on his wife’s birthday.

Nigerian social media comedian Emmanuel Ogonna Iwueke, popularly known as Craze Clown, has a unique reason to be grateful after surviving a ghastly car accident.

Actor Jamie Foxx is mourning the death of his sister.

Prominent American actor Jamie Foxx‘s younger sister DeOndra Dixon has passed away at the age of 36.

The Oscar-winning actor confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Monday, October 26, 2020, along with pictures of the pair.

Foxx wrote that his sister, who had Down Syndrome, had “transitioned.”

The 52-year old said his “heart is shattered” in a moving tribute to her.

‘Talk and Do’ is the antithesis of Davido‘s ‘Fem‘ (shut up) – a social and politically charged song which challenges people to not just talk about the ills in Nigeria and the world at large, but also back up those words with action where we can, and effect change in our little way.

On the new offering, Banky W collaborates with veterans and activists within the Nigerian music space, featuring the likes of 2Baba, Waje, Timi Dakolo, Seun Kuti alongside Brookstone and LCGC.

Speaking on the song, Banky has this to say:

“Just talking about our problems is not enough we’ve got to try and do something about them. That’s what “Talk and Do” is all about, combining actions with our words, to try and be a part of the change we’d like to see in the world. Lawmaker Desmond Elliot Denies Supporting Alleged Lagos State Anti-Social Media Bill

Former actor Desmond Elliot was recently accused of supporting the motion to regulate the use of social media by influencer, Olufunmilayo.

Popular Nollywood actor-turned-politician and lawmaker, Desmond Elliot, has come out to refute reports that lawmakers in the Lagos State House of Assembly are considering passing an anti-social media bill in the state.

Elliot took to his Instagram page on Monday, October 26, 2020, where he shared a video denying that such a bill is being considered in the statehouse, not to talk of him supporting it.

In the video, the Lagos State lawmaker said that it was not in the jurisdiction of the state government to pass such a bill.

He said: “Good evening. My name is Desmond Elliot. I just came out of a plenary sitting at the House of Assembly and before we finished, Dr. Olufumilayo tweeted saying. ‘The Lagos State House of Assembly is developing a bill to regulate and control speech on social media and Desmond Elliot is said to be one of those pushing this. So the plan is to deny the Lekki massacre.

“Please, I beg of you, I beg us and everyone. This is not true, it is totally unfounded. Dr. Olufunmilayo, why don’t you even verify? Aren’t we going through a lot already? It is not true, period.”

This comes hot on the heels of Olufunmilayo, a medical doctor, calling out Desmond Elliot on Twitter for reportedly pushing a bill to regulate and control free speech on social media during a plenary session at the house on Monday.

Elliot also slammed Olufumilayo for not verifying the claims before tweeting about it.

Last Tuesday, the protest against police brutality, which started as an opposition against the now-disbanded Special Anti- Robbery Squad (SARS) of the police, turned bloody after men in army uniform opened fire on citizens at Lekki toll gate.

Nigerian Shuns Pope Francis As He Urges All To #PrayforNigeria

O n the 26th of October, His Holiness, Pope Francis urged all on Twitter to intercede for the nation, Nigeria. He said;

“Let us pray to the Lord for Nigeria, so that every form of violence might always be avoided, in the constant search of social harmony through the promotion of justice and the common good.”

An action which could have ordinarily attracted the alignment of a good number of people turn out to be a point of opposition based on some thoughtful stands.

Well, there are at least four reasons.

1.The helping hand of the Pope really hit the odd side of the people for the fact that he reportedly approved the gay marriage. according to diverse tweets, the Prayers of the Pope are of no use as they had rather find another solution than to receive prayers from “the same mouth” that “legalized gay marriage” as they conclude “we no need am”.

2. A few other put forward their stand that prayers are not needed for all that is needful at this point in time is an action put in place to “find out the root of the violence”

3. Many posed the fact that in as much as he could be considerate of others no matter their religion, he should count those with which he shares the same faith (Christianity) as a priority, as they have lots going on with them as well.

4. Some stated that other issues need to be addressed as well, issues like the killing of Biafrans, Nigeria’s disintegration and many more.

Veteran Actor Clem Ohameze Narrates His Harrowing Attack by Hoodlums

Veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze has recounted how he was attacked by hoodlums in Akwa Ibom state amid the EndSARS protest.

The actor, who is currently shooting a movie in Akwa Ibom, revealed this an interview with BBC Igbo.

Ohameze said he was on his way to a movie location on Abak Road, on Thursday when he ran into hoodlums.

According to the veteran film star, he initially thought the hoodlums were members of the #EndSars protest but got unlucky after introducing himself as he was stripped of his cash and valuables.

Ohameze who further revealed that he reported the incident to the police, said his hand was slashed with machete and he has been in an Uyo hospital since Thursday but was discharged on Sunday October 25.

He added that his attackers have pleaded guilty to assault to a police officer and are awaiting trial.

“It happened on Thursday in Uyo,” he said. “The protesters, I ran into them. On recognising me, they just didn’t want to bother. They took everything away from me.

“They took N650,000 from me, all my phones. Destroyed my car, slashed my hand with a machete. I did a police report when this happened. I was on Abak Road in Uyo. I went to work on a movie set of my own.”

‘I Will Never Vote For APC or PDP Again’ – Actress Iyabo Ojo Declares Loud

The actress says the country needs to stop recycling politicians.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has vowed never to support, campaign or vote for the two leading political parties in Nigeria from henceforth.

The movie star made this known via her Twitter page on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

In her post, Ojo said she will not be exercising her voting right on behalf of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) again regardless of who their candidates are.

She noted that people in the nation needs change, and in other for that change to happen, the country’s political system needs to stop presenting the same crop of politicians under the guise of a different party during elections as they’re all birds of the same feathers.

“I Alice Iyabo Ojo, will never support, campaign or vote for any APC or PDP member ever again in my life even if you are my family or friend, we need a New Nigeria flag of Nigeria, we need to stop recycling #EndBadGoveranc” Ojo tweeted.

Iyabo Ojo has been very vocal about the EndSARS protest which has also been used as a medium to speak against the ills of the government.

She has now added her voice to those calling for radical changes in the country’s political setup.
