VeryDarkMan Expresses Deep Regret For Not Responding To Junior Pope’s Messages

The VeryDarkMan bared his heart out in a recent post he made on Instagram.

The controversial social activist said that late Nollywood actor Junior Pope had sent him a message on Instagram, but he didn’t reply.

In the message shared, Junior Pope had asked to speak with VeryDarkMan on an urgent matter, and when he didn’t get a response, he deleted the messages.

VeryDarkMan said that he didn’t reply to Junior Pope’s message because he normally doesn’t like associating himself with celebrities because some of them have ulterior motives.

He went on to say that Junior Pope’s message was ominous and might have meant that he was in danger. The VeryDarkMan also insinuated that the message could be related to his death in some way.

The VeryDarkMan stated that Junior Pope’s message would motivate him to start investigating his case.

He said that he didn’t want to get involved in the matter at first because of the approach he took to Mohbad’s case.

In Mohbad’s case, VeryDarkMan had sought a DNA test to be done on his son. He said in this video that there’s a possibility that Mohbad was killed because his wife was trying to hide the identity of the real father of her son.

VeryDarkMan said that Nigerians used the sentiment to analyze Mohbad’s case, so he took a step back, and that is why he was reluctant to pursue Junior Pope’s case at first.

According to VeryDarkMan, there was negligence involved in Junior Pope’s death, but he feels like there’s something more to it.

He also said that the people who were around Junior Pope around the time of his death should be questioned.

The late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Adeyemi’s former youngest wife, Queen Dami, has reacted to the allegations levelled against her by her lover and controversial singer Habib Okikiola, better known as Portable.

Recall that last night Portable called out Queen Dami for living in his house and still showing affection to other people.

Portable Queen Dami, who doubles as his mistress over her refusal to have his child, He vented out, recalling how he stood for her when there was no one, and yet she disappointed him.

He went on to lament the fact that she refused to have a child for him, unlike the other women in his harem.

This revelation by Portable was the talk of the internet. In order to set records straight with haters, Queen Dami claimed she could not be pulled down because she’s a child of God.

She wrote on Instagram with an adorable photo of herself,

Nigerian singer, Portable, has called out the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Dami, who doubles as his mistress, over her refusal to have his child.

Taking to her comment section to vent out, he noted how he took care of her when nobody was there for her, showed her love and all, yet she disappointed him.

He further noted how Queen Dami is living in his house, yet her face is still outside. He stated that Dami noted how he gets women pregnant every year, hence why she refused to have a child for him.

Expressing disappointment in her, he wrote, “Na only you no get belle among all my wife. Am responsible for you but you fail me.

Recall that Portable confirmed his affair with Queen Dami last year after controversial blogger Gist Lover alleged that the mother of one was in a relationship with Portable by sharing screenshots of their comments.

Speaking about their relationship, Portable stated that Queen Dami was only a fan before the death of her husband, the King.

According to him, things switched up from there, as he wasn’t one to have an affair with people’s wives.

Since their relationship, Portable has flaunted her online and has been protective of her. He had even defended her against actor Lege Miami, who exposed the former Queen’s desperation for love.

Lege Miami stated that he was still looking for a suitor for Dami when he learned of her romance with Portable, and when he confronted her, she denied it at first.

With evidence, Portable slammed Lege as he exposed the actor for begging for money from his wife.

Justin Dean, the ex-husband of Nigerian singer and dancer Korra Obidi, after her London attack, has once again to talk about why he divorced Korra. The LA-based Chiropractor brought out an unconfirmed Whatsapp message with no date or year claiming that his ex-wife slept with a woman’s fiance while she was five months pregnant with their second child.

Taking to his Facebook page, he alleged that the man’s finance gave him their chat that shocked him to his bone marrow.

In his words; “Korra, my ex-wife went to Nigeria for her friends’s wedding and slept with this woman fiance, while she was 5months pregnant with our daughter, I was so upset when I found out that she has been sleeping around, part 3.”

As the accusation went viral, Korra came out to debunk the claims, saying that she never did such a thing.

Recall that Justin Dean announced divorce in March 2022, a few weeks after they welcomed their second child, and Korra granted it.

EFCC Arrest: CP No Small Money, Na Water Cubana Chiefpriest Breaks Silence Following Court’s Ruling

Celebrity barman Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has bragged online following his release from the EFCC’s custody today.

Earlier today, Chief Priest was arraigned by the EFCC over the charge of Naira mutilation, amongst others.

Reports from Channels Television stated that the EFCC filed a three-count charge against the businessman for spraying and tampering with the naira at a social event, contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

Pascal arrived before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos, on Wednesday morning, April 17th, 2024, and pleaded not guilty to the charges of naira abuse.

While being arraigned in court this morning, his counsel, Chukwusolo Onukwi, opposed the charges filed against him by the EFCC. He had also filed a bail application, which was granted by the judge.

He was granted bail with a fine of ten million naira.

Sharing a photo of himself after release, Cubana Chief Priest appreciated those who have been checking on him since the time he was arrested, saying their messages and love made him humble.

He also bragged about being famous with the claim that money is water.

Nigerian billionaire businessman Emeka Okonkwo, better known as E-Money, has pledged to nurture the children of the late actor and friend, Junior Pope.

Taking to his Instagram page, he noted how it has been one week since the actor departed from this world, leaving behind a profound sense of loss that reverberates in Africa and beyond.

He noted how his presence as both a friend and brother is deeply missed.

E-Money stated that the weight of his absence beats heavily upon their hearts, yet they draw comfort from the belief that God will grant them the resilience to carry forward and uphold his legacy.

Recalling Junior Pope’s last words on the boat, where he said he was going to take care of his three kids, E-Money vowed that he and his family would help nurture the kids as he would have wished.

“It has been one week since you departed from this world, leaving behind a profound sense of loss that reverberates not only among us but also across Africa and beyond. Your presence, as both a friend and a brother, is deeply missed, JP. Africanglitz reported on Wednesday, April 10th, that Junior Pope had died after drowning while returning from a movie location with his colleagues in a boat at the Anam River in Anambra State.

The actor was said to have woken up briefly and was taken to the Water Shrine for some cleansing, after which he was taken to the hospital, where he eventually gave up.

A day ago, Regina Daniels shared a collage of videos of the actor, stating that the late actor’s nugget comfort would be that he left a world filled with love and support for the ones closest to his heart.

Veteran actress Rita Edochie refused to celebrate her birthday on Tuesday as she dedicated it in memory of Junior Pope. She noted how the late actor never missed her birthdays and would always call her, send her messages, post her pictures online, and more.

Alex Ekubo had written a heartfelt note, revealing that the tragedy of the boat accident had left him in shock as he noted how the day of Junior Pope’s death coincided with his birthday.

He claimed that he hadn’t been able to attend any event or function properly since then, as he could only imagine the unbearable pain and utter confusion of the families of the victims.

Forbes Africa celebrates the 10th edition of its annual 30 Under 30 list in the magazine’s April/May 2024 issue.

This is a testament to the talent pool on the African continent, which features the world’s youngest population.

The list highlights young, ambitious, and bold leaders shaping Africa in entertainment, education, sports, technology, healthcare, art, and other industries.

Nigerians like singer-songwriter Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan (Fireboy DML), Super Eagles footballer Victor Osimhen, founder and CEO of Mainlogix Technology Josiah Akinloye, founder of Veekee James Ruth Erikan James, track and field athlete Tobi Amusan, and founder and CEO FXKudi Abioye Oyetunji are among those included.

Other Africans on the list include South African singer-songwriter Tyla Laura Seethal, founder of Trigershot Engineering Peace Wutawunashe, director and founder of Africa Afya Healthcare Kenneth M. Njeru, co-founder and CTO of Ramani Calvin Usiri, and more.

From over a thousand applicants this year, the finalists were drawn after a rigorous vetting process by the editorial team led by Under 30 curator Chanel Retief, alongside a panel of independent external judges and subject-matter experts such as Mo Abudu, Kate Kallot, Chris Maurice, Tlaleng Mofokeng, Helena Ndume, Desiree Ellis, and also former Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 alumni.

The evaluation process commenced in late 2023, with the support of the audit partner, SNG Grant Thornton.

The movie star proposed this after the unfortunate demise of Jnr. Pope and four other crew members as a result of a boat accident in the Anam River, Anambra State.

Sylvester made the announcement, stating that it would last from the 15th to the 21st of April.

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie is dedicating her birthday to her late junior colleague, Junior Pope.

On her Instagram page, the sister-in-law of Pete Edochie stated that she wouldn’t be celebrating her birthday today and has chosen to rather dedicate it to Junior Pope.

She noted how the late actor never missed her birthdays and would always call her, send her messages, post her pictures online, and more.

Rita stated that she refuses to believe he is dead until the day ends, and she doesn’t receive a reaction from him.

The aunty of Yul Edochie added that no one death in Nollywood has made her this cràzy, as she noted how Junior Pope was too young to die.

Making a promise to him, she stated that the memories they shared would remain evergreen in her heart.
