Top Nigerian singer Dbanj has expressed his support for Nigerian youths clamouring for the end to police brutality in the nation.

The music star took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, where he shared his view concerning the ongoing widespread protest in a heartfelt note.

In his lengthy post, Dbanj who lost his son two years ago said he understands how it feels to lose a child or loved one and can relate to the pains Nigerians feel about the death of young Nigerians to police cruelty.

Dbanj and his wife lost their 1-year old son in a tragic domestic accident few years back.

“I know what it means to be in pain, to lose a child and a loved one,” he said. “So I know the pain my brothers and sisters are going through and my heart is heavy I pray God grants us the healing and restoration we so deeply need in our country and that our lights can once again shine.

“As a Nigerian youth, I try my best to never give up especially when it seems the hardest, so I urge you to do the same. I stand in solidarity with the Nigerian youth. I stand for restructuring of the Nation system

“On that note, we move, we never give up, till we get to the top of the world! ABUJA ;pls where is the location for the ?? #ReformtheNation #EndSars.”

Recall that in June 2018, Dbanj lost his son to a tragic domestic accident in his residential home in Lagos State. The 13-month-old boy was playing around the indoor swimming pool when he fell in and drowned.
