Rapper Kanye West has rendered a heartfelt apology to his wife, Kim Kardashian on social media after accusing her of cheating on him.
West asked for Kim’s forgiveness, saying he is sorry for publicly sharing private details about their family.
On Saturday, July 25, 2020, the rapper, 43, shared an apology on Twitter, writing, “I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.”
He aldmitted to hurting the mother of his children by not defending her like she has done for him in the past, and then pleaded for her pardon.
“I did not cover her as she has covered me. Kim I know I hurt you. Please forgive me,” he continued.
West went on to thank his supermodel wife for her relentless support towards him.
“Thank you for always being there for me,” the father of four concluded.
West had accused Kim, 39, of dishonouring their marriage vows with rapper, Meek Mill during a meeting held at the Waldorf hotel in 2018. Photograph of the alleged meeting has since surfaced online.
These tweets about his wife were among a stretch of wide-ranging tweets where he claimed that the movie ‘Get Out’ was based on him, referenced various other celebrities like Drake randomly, referred to his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, as “Kris Jong-Un” and also made mention of his children in a disorderly manner.
