Reality star Kim Kardashian shocked fans by announcing that her family’s iconic reality show is ending after 14 years on air.
Kim Kardashian has announced that Keeping Up With The Kardashians will end with its final season airing in 2021.
The surprise announcement of the reality show’s close was made by the supermodel is a statement shared via her Instagram page on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
“It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” she wrote.
In the post, Kim revealed that the decision to end the show was made by the Kardashian-Jenner family, but she did not state any specific reason.
She continued: “After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”
The Kardashian family shot to fame after launching the reality TV show in 2007, with a whopping 18 seasons on E! network.
The reality series centers around the members of the Kardashian-Jenner blended family, focusing on the sisters Kourtney, Kim, Khloé,Kylie, Kendall, brother, Rob, mum, Kris, step dad, Catilyn Jenner and their extended family.
