Kunle Afolayan shares pictures from the Press/Media screening of October 1 movie. The Screening took place on Tuesday August 5th, 2014 at the Golden Effects Studio, in Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria and in partnership with Filmone and Terra Kulture.
Kunle Afolayan is one of Nigeria top movie maker, he was very happy with the turnout of the press screening as he leaves a thank you message on his facebook page saying “Thank you to Nigeria media for trouping out in mass to support the course. World Premiere holds on 28th September and Cinema release in Nigeria on 1st October“.
‘October 1’ narrates the story of Danladi Waziri (Sadiq Daba), a police officer from Northern Nigeria who is posted to a remote town of Akote in Western Nigeria to investigate the frequent female murder cases in the community and have the mystery solved before the Nigerian flag is raised on October 1, (Nigeria’s Independence Day). Stars include; Sadiq Daba, Kehinde Bankole, David Bailie, Nick Rhys, Fabian Adeoye, Kanay O Kanayo and many more.
