The London premiere of the Lekki Wives “The Movie” which took place yesterday at the Lighthouse Camberwell yesterday brought to you by Cokobar in conjuction with Nollywood channel 329 and powered by Un1ty TV was a great Night of style, Glam, Entertainment, fun and most of All Thrilling Drama of the Movie from start to finish!

The Movie was about the lifestyle of the women of Lekki and how they will do anything to match up with their mate and get the lastest thing in Town.

The story is about 5 women/housewives who found themselves in one predicament/situation or another and did anything and everything possible to survive and as a result bringing 5 women together to form a high class babe friendship running things in Town!

The Writer, producer and director Blessing Effiom Egbe who is an housewife talked about how she came up with the storyline it is based on true life stories about what she has held or seen  by friends in the society of what is happening around. And being that she is a housewife aswell, she wanted to tell the story and this is how she came about the storyline for this series/Movie.

This was definately a movie worth watching. there was drama, comedy, suspense, sadness, pity, envy and everything you an imagine! but one it was wasnt was a boring moment. every scene gasp you and makes you want to know whats NEXT!

LOVETTE

She was a lovely housewife who was in love with her husband but whats struggling to keep up with the lifestyle of Lekki until she found kindness in her landlord and got involve with him which lead to divorce with her husband. she acquire alot of property, money and more after that but payback they say is a Bitch! it was sad when her Ex husban took it all back…!

UJU

She was the wanna be Lekki babe! could not afford the lifestyle but will do anything to keep up and lieing kept her thru it all…but in the end it was all sadness for her as she bit way more than she could chew.

MIRANDA

she was a married woman but a LESBIAN in the closest and this lifestyle also lost her her husband to the MAID!

CLEO

she was forced into a loveless marriage by her parent to a chief so that they can keep up appearance in Lekki but this lead her to keep her relationship with her boyfriend going whilst she was married to the chief. In the end she it tragedy for her loosing her love and her child!

PEACE

she was the born again housewife who could not come in times with her husband sexual preference in other not to relive her past. it was a comedy full storyline. her husband manjaro got the crowd laughing all through. his character/acting was too hilarious!.

Well all this Drama was only season 1 so think about what season 2 will bring to you!. if you missed this then you can watch it on UN1TY TV by downloading the App. Season 2 has already started airing in nigeria.

The Night ended with a performace by Olamide #BADDO. he only performed for about 7 mins but it felt like he was on stage for an hour as he interacted with the crowd and got everyone dancing alot. it was #TURNUP.

Overall it was a great Night! Totally well organised, The whole cast KIKI, ADAORA, KATHERINE, KEIRA and Blessing Effiom the producer was all present on the Night and all looked fabulous. Unfortunately CHINOSO (CLEO) could not make it. They were all dressed by a Nigerian Based Designer ZIZI CARDOW
