SONIA IPHIE IKE

MISS BLACK AFRICA UK MAKES COMMUNITY PROUD!

Sonia Iphie Ike is Miss Black Africa UK 2014. Since elected late last year, she has been bearing a good cause, her latest is her  Queens 4 Africa project. She has taken her Charity mission to Imo state Nigeria.

She had a  Fundraising Event in London on Saturday the 1st of March at the Ripple Centre. The money raised is going to be used to renovate a school in Imo state Nigeria, raising money for, Library, Repairing, Repainting and buying class room furnitures. She is currently in Nigeria working on Central School 7 with the money raised at the event. One of the few generous people who helped with raising the fund is Pauline Long, a London based entrepreneur and owner/founder of BEFFTA.

Sonia Ike is keeping everyone updated with her project on facebook, she wrote earlier today on her page “Early stages of the queens4africa project has begun.we visited central school 7 Okohia to see first hand what we will be working on,with great support from our team members. More photos will be uploaded to show weekly progress. Thanks to everyone who has been supporting us, through words of encouragement, prayers, etc. We are indeed very grateful“.  This is no doubt an amazing good cause. We are wishing her all the best and hope to see more people like her come forward in Africa.

We will find out more information about Sonia and her team and we will definitely keep you updated with this amazing project as time goes. For more info, check out the facebook page for Queen 4 Africa here
