Inkblot Productions and Dioni Visions Entertainment latest collaboration, Love is War, will now feature in nationwide cinemas within Nigeria. The much-anticipated movie which stares a host of familiar Nollywood faces like Omoni Oboli, Richard Mofe-Damijo, among others, was written by Chinaza Onuzo and Directed by Omoni herself.
The storyline of Love Is War centers on a husband and wife (played by Omoni Oboli and Richard Mofe-Damijo) who win the primary election of two separate rival parties and must go head to head in the gubernatorial election. Now they find themselves in a difficult crossroad where they must strike the right balance between politics and family or risk letting the quest for electoral positions ruin their marriage.
The Movie sheds light on the game of politics in Nigeria and the involvement of women in politics. It also shows that being a leader is not down to years of experience but of capability.
Speaking on the movie, founder of Inkblot Productions, Zulu Oyibo who also had a cameo appearance addressed reporters saying: “This is our second collaboration with DVE since Moms At War in 2018 and the journey to produce Love is War has been amazing so far. Collaborating with like-minded people like Omoni Oboli is what makes the job run smoothly. Love is War is nothing like what’s been seen before and we look forward to all the positive feedback.”
