Budding Nollywood actress Regina Daniels can now find comfort knowing that her marriage with husband Ned Nwoko has the full support of both parents.
Regina Daniels father, Barrister Jude Ojeogwu appears to have put his grudges aside in relations to the marriage of his daughter to billionaire, Ned Nwoko.
Mr. Ojeogwu was among the guest who was present at the couple’s baby naming ceremony held on Friday, July 10, 2020.
According to reports from top blogger Linda Ikeji, it was a huge surprise for guests at the occasion when Regina’s father graced the ceremony with his presence alongside one of his grandchildren given that he has strongly opposed the union because of the age difference between his daughter and Mr. Nwoko.
However, the father finally approved of the marriage during the naming ceremony where he is reported to have cited the birth of the couple’s child and the sake of peace and happiness as the reasons for his change of heart.
He said,
“The birth of this child has answered the question (about the controversy); everybody craves for peace, joy and happiness. I have accepted everything. I feel very happy having a grandchild and that is why I am here. I travelled all the way from Lagos to this place just to celebrate with the family. I told him (Nwoko) and the mother to call him Ifechukwude which means what God has written.”
Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniel recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy, after tying the knot back in 2019.
