Popular Canadian actor and Broadway star Nick Cordero has died at the age of 41 following his three months battle with coronavirus.
Nick Cordero died from several medical complications after testing positive for Covid-19 back in March.
News of his death was announced by wife, Amanda Kloots who wrote on Instagram that the Tony award-nominated actor died on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after spending more than 90 days in the hospital.
“God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth,” she wrote.
Amanda has chronicled Nick’s health condition on Instagram since he was confirmed to have contracted the deadly virus in March. The actor is believed to have had a succession of health setbacks, including being attached to a ventilator and having his right leg amputated after suffering mini-stokes.
Nick was popularly known for his series of tough-guy roles in Broadway theater. He tied the knot with Amanda back in 2017 and the couple welcomed their only child two years later.
