Nigerian dance world has lost a very talented dancer and Video Vixen.

Love Divine who is popularly known as Kodak reportedly died from electrocution while charging her phone during a short break from a video shot at ace music director, Clarence peters’ house.

Due to the lockdown, the young dancer went to Clarence’s house for an isolated shot, and in-between takes, she took a break to plug her phone downstairs and use it while on a charge. This is when the accident reportedly happened. She was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital within the estate where she was later confirmed dead.

Clarence Peters, 36, is the son of ace musician, Sir Shina Peters, and star actress, Clarion Chukwura, and is popularly known as one of Nigeria’s best music directors. He is reportedly still in shock and hasn’t found the voice to express his feelings.

KODAK BRIEF PROFILE

Kodak was famous in the industry for working with Clarence in videos for acts like Burna Boy, Tekno, Davido, Olamide to name a few. One of the last videos she posted on her Instagram page was one of her with famous dancer, Poco Lee.

Her passing has sparked many comments on social media with many entertainers, especially those who knew her personally or worked with paying tributes to her memory. Rapper, Olamide took to his Instagram page to pen down his tribute, saying “Rest Up” with a picture of him and her. Blaqbonez tweeted: “the vixen in the ‘Haba’ Video, ‘Picture Kodak’ just died, it hurts so much cos we became close after, I don’t know how to handle my emotions.”

Other dancers like Poco Lee, The Xpandables, Sharon Mia, among others, have also paid tributes. Kodak was known for her energetic dance styles and unique fashion. Picture Kodak influenced her peers through dance and became very popular in her craft.
