Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa is of the view that society has double standards when a man is involved in a sex scandal. Makinwa expressed this when speaking with a colleague at the Rhythm FM studio about a trending video allegedly involving Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, aka Oxlade in several sex positions.

The viral sex tape was applauded by some fans, including UNILAG students for the sexual prowess displayed in the video. However, the viral video has generated comments and criticism condemning the artiste for using the energy meant for dropping hit songs to make a sex tape. Recall that Tiwa Savage’s sex tape was leaked in October 2021, sparking controversy and accusations that she was not a good role model for the younger generation.

However, unlike how Tiwa was criticized and attacked online, many netizens appeared to be biased in their remarks. Makinwa has questioned those who would hail or ask a guy to show them the way to do the same thing instead of throwing a stone at a woman.

she said,

“ People have double standards because when it’s a man, people are like ‘what do you feel about it?’ But when it’s a woman, they want to crucify her.

“People need to stop being hypocritical, when it’s one gender, they hail them and ask to be taught the way but the female gender, it’s something else.”

Toke Makinwa Continued to condemn. This time its people who record themselves crying
