Music group Psquare ruled over the Nigerian music industry for much part of the 2000s before its disbandment.
On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, a video emerged on social media and it shows Peter Okoye of the defunct Psquare music group speaking yet again about the issues that led to the ugly separation with his twin brother Paul Okoye.
However this time, in the video that has since gone viral, the singer took responsibility for the issues that have happened. A remorseful Peter even sought fans forgiveness.
He then went a step further to announce that he and his brother has put their differences behind and the Psquare music group were back together again. All these led to fans widening out on Twitter with excitement as they have since hoped and prayed for a possible comeback of the duo.

But…talks of the famous Psquare brothers sudden reconciliation and the reformation of Psquare music group seemed too good to be true, and indeed it was.
Peter soon took to his official Twitter page to debunk the claims. He said that the video was an old one from 2015 and that he is forever solo. He then used the medium to inform fans that a new album from him is currently in the making.
Stop wasting your time… that’s an old video 2015👎🏽… Forever MrP. The Prodigal Album Loading…. #MrP

Peter and Paul parted ways in 2017, supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their brother and manager, Jude Okoye. They now go by the respective stage name Mr P and Rude Boy.
