After leading the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant for 16 years, Folio Communications is transferring control to The Audrey Silva Company, led by Nollywood actress and producer Rita Dominic and renowned film director Mildred Okwo.
Dominic expressed her pride in taking over, emphasizing her 25 years of extensive film production experience as preparation for this new role.

Meanwhile, Fidelis Anosike, the founder of Folio Communications, highlighted the historical significance of the pageant and welcomed TASC as the ideal organization to carry forward its legacy.
Anosike, speaking about his wife Rita Dominic, said, “She will make Nigeria proud and raise the bar for the pageant; I am convinced. With high hopes that the Miss Nigeria platform will evolve into a trust for the empowerment of young Nigerian women, we warmly welcome the Audrey Silva firm into the Miss Nigeria 1957 alliance.”
With a focus on empowering Nigerian women, the new partnership aims to modernize the pageant and engage a digitally savvy audience.
The restructured Miss Nigeria Organization, which includes accomplished leaders such as Wunmi Ogunbiyi and Ego Boyo, is dedicated to continuing the pageant’s legacy of celebrating Nigerian women and providing educational opportunities.
The winner serves as an exemplary role model for other young women to follow. In recent years, the pageant has embraced inclusivity and diversity, as seen in the recent crowning of Shatu Garko, the first Muslim to win the pageant.
