The Mayor of Lambeth Councillor (Adedamola Aminu) will be hosting a Valentine’s Day cultural fundraising dinner for Girl Child Network Worldwide Charity on Friday the 20th of February 2015, in the hope of raising money for the benefit of this young women through education.
The Gilr Child Network Worldwide is a London based Charity for vulnerable young women, mostly of African decent. He held a fundraising at the Kia Oval in South London before 2014 Christmas raising money for The Girl Child Network Wordwide which he is also the founder, attended by some well known celebs including Levi Roots.
Councillor Aminu said: “Fund raised will benefit my chosen charity Girl Child Network Worldwide, a lead organisation in empowering and educating girls in Africa “.
This next fundraiser will take place in Brixton Town Hall’s Assembly Hall, London on the 20th of February. Door will be open from 7pm, the event is expected to attract the cream of African society leaving in the UK. Ticket are selling for £35 per person, the ticket price includes all food and drink. There will be entertainment and music.
